Jesus Melendez, FNP-C, is a board certified family nurse practitioner. Jesus was born and raised in Venezuela. He moved to the United States with his family in 1989. He attended the Southern Adventist University School of Nursing where he received his degree in 2007. He was inducted into the honor society of nursing, Sigma Theta Tau, in 2005. He has been in practice for three years.
Jesus is a bi-lingual provider, who is fluent in both English and Spanish. Jesus sees patients of all ages for acute care and emergent assessment. Jesus translated into Spanish the work “The Heartbeat”, a book on preventing heart disease, written by Dr. James Marcum.
He presently serves United Knitting employees with onsite medical treatment of both work related injury/ illnesses and primary care. Mr. Melendez also monitors the ongoing wellness program for our occupational medicine program.
When not seeing patients, Jesus enjoys spending time with family, listening to music, working out and playing basketball. "My goal is to serve the people of this community through the provision of high quality, cost-effective, medical services individually designed to meet the varied needs of each of patient.
